May 9th-June 13th Southridge Junior Spring League is a structured and engaging program designed to introduce and develop young individuals to the sport of golf. The league provides a supportive and fun environment for kids and teenagers to enhance their golf skills while fostering a love for the game. Players will have one practice session each week with tee times on Friday evenings. Practice sessions will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 4:30-5:30, 5:30-6:30 p.m. Contact Nate at 970-308-1833 to get signed up for a practice session. Parents, it is highly recommended you get your child a Youth On Course membership. Go to www.youthoncourse.org It is $25/year and allows your child to play a variety of course for only $5/nine holes. Each player will need to check in to the pro shop and pay the appropriate fees prior to teeing off. 9 hole division (white and red tees) Players in this division will walk and carry their own bags, keep each others scores, and maintain a proper pace of play. PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FOLLOW BEHIND THEIR PLAYER AND COACH. All parents, friends and family are encouraged to follow along the cart path and not get involved during the round. Typically, each group will have one voluntary scorekeeper/pacesetter per group to help maintain proper pace of play. 6 hole division Players in this division will tee off from no longer than 250 yards per hole. Each player is expected to walk and carry their own bag and start learning how to keep track of their own score. PARENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FOLLOW DIRECTLY BEHIND THEIR PLAYER AND COACH. All parents, friends and family are encouraged to follow along the cart path and cheer during the round but coaching is not allowed. Typically, each group will have one volunteer scorekeeper/pacesetter to help maintain a proper pace of play. 4 hole division (Caddie league) Players in this division are typically new to the game and can get the ball moving forward down the fairway. PARENTS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO HELP THEIR PLAYER WITH EVERYTHING! The main focus in this division is FUN and to learn the proper rules and etiquette of golf while maintaining a proper pace of play.
